Harris Tower Front

HARRIS, built in 1929, controlled the west end of Harrisburg Station and access to Harrisburg Yard and the engine terminal. [STATE controlled the east end of the station. STATE “tower” was located in an upper floor of the station building, and probably replaced multiple older towers as part of an upgrade that included HARRIS.]

Opened on Saturdays during spring and summer by Harrisburg Chapter, NRHS.
