CP244 Bridge Tender's House

A bridge tender is on duty because the Sagatuck River is a navigable river. Bridges on navigable rivers, per Coast Guard regulations, must be able to open for water traffic.

The walkway is open to pedestrians and accessible from the Westport Station.

Before renaming, this bridge was called Saga Movable Bridge.
