Circle Trip

The trip ran July 14, 2014. We left Penn Station 9:12 AM, arriving Ronkonkoma at 10:35. We left on the Greenport connection at 10:40, arriving at 12:20 PM, about 15 minutes late. After dining at Claudio's, we walked to the Railroad Museum of Long Island which had Long Island Railroad (LIRR) artifacts.

Our chartered school bus picked us up at 2:15 and dropped us off at Orient Point at 2:45, in time for the 3 PM ferry to New London. Arrival was at 4:20 and we had a short wait for Amtrak to pick us up at 4:49, returning us to Penn Station at 7:26.
