Montauk

The trip ran July 13 on the LIRR’s longest branch to its bumper post. We left Penn Station at 7:45 AM and transferred at Jamaica at 8:10 for the Montauk train. We left Jamaica on the Main Line to Bethpage where we got on the Central Branch to Babylon, continuing on the Montauk Branch to the end. Our chartered bus transported us to the State’s oldest lighthouse followed by lunch at Gosman’s dock. Afterwards, the bus returned us to the station for the 3:30 train.
