Selkirk Yard

Former New York Central, Penn Central, Conrail and now CSX yard. It is on the opposite side of the Hudson from the Amtrak-Rensselaer station.

These photos are from my Erie Canal trip. I drove to Rochester via the interstate system and then followed the canal back to Albany, riding two boats on the canal and visiting the museum in Syracuse.
