Valley Stream East

The station is the confluence of the West Hempstead, Long Beach, and Far Rockaway Branches. Trains to Far Rockaway use the track on the other side. (See the Far Rockaway album.)
The West Hempstead Branch begins a short distance eastward on the left.

The indicator on the sign means Valley 2 interlocking, Track 3 east. Valley Stream has multiple interlockings and this is the second.

Timetable direction is east to West Hempstead.
