Carle Place Eastward

Looking east towards Westbury. The Bridge in the distance was demolished in 2015 to make way for a replacement bridge. To prevent injuries, the railroad was closed between Hicksville and Mineola and buses were substituted. Some Main Line trains were routed to the Montauk Branch via the Central Branch.
