Nantahala Gorge Trip

Train excurions operate westbound from Bryson City (MP 63) at 10:30 AM to the siding at MP 86.1 . The engines run around the train and pull the train eastward to the Nantahala Outdoor Center where passengers disembark for lunch and sightseeing. The center was the site for a kayak competition.
